What Sabine Schmitz in a Transit just didn’t work, the lord of Revo Technik or geflikt: a sub-10 minute time on the Nurburgring Nordschleife clocks.

It was still tight, because only after 9:57 minutes was stop the clock, and was the 20,81 km long T5-agony with 154 turns is completed.

As you can on the photo to see the T5 had not completely standard: the 2.0 TDI got a boost to 220 hp, and of course a lot more torque. Also the suspension was obviously modified to a tighter set of (Bilstein B14). Read here and HERE for more background.

Behind the wheel took, of course, the best place: it was Dale Lomas, a well-known name for everyone who come to Bridge2Gantry, that the record in the books reed. We saw Lomas also been trolling in an RX-8.

Secretly, we wonder what for the time he was in a 500 hp strong MTM T5 would be able to achieve.

Useless? Perhaps. But yes, for a bit of PR there are, however, more useless records driven, or not sometimes, Jaguar-Land Rover?
