LG has published the source code of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the G3

LG Electronics has released the source code of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the international version of last year’s flagship LG G3 (model number LGD855) on its website for developers. In fact, this is the official confirmation that the firmware update for the LG G3 with the latest version of Android is not far off.

As expected, the update will be released soon — on December 16-18, first for users in Poland. We will remind, the first smartphone LG, received an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow became the flagship LG G4. In early November, LG G4 started to update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in South Korea, and even earlier — in Poland. Apparently, any serious upgrade issues were found, because at the end of November a firmware update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow began to spread in other regions of Europe.
