BMW’s history lesson about the E36 3 Series

It is perhaps the least popular 3 Series of all, this E36, but BMW is not in a video to the clever heads behind the development of this Dreier to speak.

Compared to the angular E30, that eleven years remained in production, the E36 as a genuine revolution, when in October 1990 was presented. The whole design was all about aerodynamics and the third generation of the 3 Series is different from anything BMW currently in the showroom. So the four typical round section for the first time hidden behind a square piece of glass and are the kidneys more and more integrated into the bodywork than before. The question is whether the only the design elements are from BMW itself, which by some are not valued, or that with the additions of many a director has to do.

Unfortunately for the lovers of the playful character of the E30: that went with the E36 for a part lost. Still, it was Dreier, the sportiest boy of the class, and the more predictable their behaviour explained to BMW to no avail because: the E36 was a great success.
